Sumner County Emergency Medical Services provides both 24-hour Emergency and Non-Emergency medical transportation to its citizens. Sumner County has a population of 149,416 (U.S. Census Bureau 2006 est).
SCEMS currently staffs 10 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances and 5 Basic Life Support Units (BLS) to meet the needs of our citizens. Our typical ALS truck is staffed with one Paramedic and one EMT-IV.
Our Headquarters is located in Gallatin TN. We currently have one ALS truck (Medic 11) and all of our BLS trucks operate out of this station. Our Administrative offices are also located out of this location.
